MDM - Palace Moscow
In collaboration with architect DI Andreas Spranger, a forward-looking design strategy was developed for the comprehensive renovation and adaptive reuse of the existing Moscow Youth Palace.

The architectural intervention addresses the transformation of the Soviet-era cultural institution into a contemporary mixed-use venue. The design approach balances heritage preservation with programmatic modernization, integrating new functional requirements while respecting the building's historical architectural language.

The renovation concept encompasses structural consolidation, spatial reconfiguration, and technological infrastructure upgrades. The adaptive strategy reinterprets the original monumental scale through contemporary materiality and refined spatial sequences that enhance user circulation and cultural programming.

The project demonstrates sustainable architectural practice through strategic building reuse, extending the operational lifespan of significant urban infrastructure while establishing new cultural paradigms within Moscow's evolving cityscape.
