MDM Roof - Top Event Space

The MDM building in central Moscow houses various public cultural and gastronomic establishments alongside two contemporary theatre venues.

​

The approximately 2,000 m² rooftop area of the elliptical high-rise structure is designated for the implementation of event infrastructure and public access areas ranging between 700 and 1,600 m².

The architectural intervention references Moscow's characteristic roofscape and is conceived as a contemporary interpretation of this urban typology. The volumetric composition follows a forward-looking formal language that utilizes the existing building mass as a podium while defining a new urban stratum.
